Pharr Mounds Pharr Mounds consists of eight dome shaped mounds over 90 acres. In the picture above, five of them can be seen, although the furtherest is difficult to see. Years ago, trails from all over come to thissite to trade goods such as cooper, mica, greenstone, and shells. They range in height from two to eighteen feet. |

Pharr Mounds Built 1800 to 2000 years ago, modern Chickasaw continue to feel a strong spiritual connection with Pharr Mounds. From all over the country, they make a pilgrimage back to these lands of their ancestors. Please respect these mounds the same way we all respect cemeteries. |
